The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited announced that it has addressed concerns about the present scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol.
NNPCL stated that the scarcity in certain parts of the country is due to logistical issues that have subsequently been remedied.
Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., stated on Thursday that there would be no changes to petroleum product prices.
In the statement, Soneye reminded Nigerians that there is a enough supply of petroleum products nationwide and urged individuals to avoid panic buying.
The corporation stressed the significance of remaining calm, as there is no lack of fuel in the country.
It stated that, “The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) desires to explain that the current shortage of Premium Motor Spirit in various places across the country is due to logistics challenges, which have been remedied.
“It also wishes to reiterate that petroleum product prices remain constant.
