Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered the dissolution of the Lagos State executive council and the dismissal of all political officeholders and aides ahead of the end of his first term.
On Wednesday, Sanwo-Olu announced the council’s dissolution in a circular signed by Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the Lagos State head of service.
According to the circular, the dissolution will take effect on Friday, May 26, 2023.
