With the evidence of 10 witnesses and the filing of several documents, progress has been made in the ongoing hearing of Atiku Abubakar’s case at the election tribunal court.
The petition intends to contest Tinubu’s election victory in the most recent elections. On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, when the hearing was resumed, the PDP’s attorney, Eyitemi Jegede, expressed worry over INEC’s failure to properly produce the necessary papers.
Jegede emphasized that just a portion of the results for 10 of the 21 states that the Electoral Commission had requested from INEC had been supplied. The PDP attorney asked the court for an adjournment due to the paucity of papers.

The important paperwork in question is the INEC election-specific forms. The PDP and other petitioners should take note of the significance of these materials. Additionally, more papers pertaining to the parties’ petitions have been asked for.
Atiku Abubakar’s lawsuit is still being heard in the electoral tribunal court, but the PDP’s attorney has asked for a postponement because to the current delay brought on by the incomplete paperwork.
