The Federal Government has declared Monday, June 12, 2023, a Public Holiday.
This is in commemoration of this year’s Democracy Day celebrations.
The announcement was made by Permanent Secretary, Dr Oluwatoyin Akinlade on behalf of the Federal Government.
Dr. Akinlade hailed Nigerians for remaining steadfast on the tenets of democratic governance despite stormy and smooth sails.
He urged them to celebrate the milestones covered even as we look forward to a better future for the country’s democracy.
