Dangote Refinery inaugurated by Buhari and five other country presidents.

President Muhammadu Buhari will join leaders from Ghana, Togo, Senegal, Niger, and Chad today to launch the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals.
This historic occasion celebrates the completion of a visionary project spearheaded by renowned African business mogul Aliko Dangote, as the world’s largest single railway facility opens in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

The presence of all 36 Nigerian state governors, governors-elect, ministers, senators, and significant figures from the nation’s industrial sector is expected to be a grand convergence of influential personalities.

The event will also be attended by global oil dealers, leading international bankers, and representatives from multilateral agencies, demonstrating the event’s broad relevance.

The presence of Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is likely to add to the prestigious assemblage.

According to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery Facts Sheet, this new facility will not only meet Nigeria’s total domestic demand for refined products, including 53 million liters per day of gasoline, 34 million liters per day of diesel, 10 million liters per day of kerosene, and two million liters per day of aviation jet fuel, but will also have a surplus of each product for exportation.
