How to Reset or Change Your Password

Your password is the key to your Made In Nigeria account. Whether you’ve forgotten your password or simply want to update it for security reasons, this guide will show you exactly how to reset or change it safely.

  • 🔄 Option 1: How to Reset a Forgotten Password

    If you can’t log in because you forgot your password, don’t worry — you can reset it in minutes.

    Follow these steps:

    Step 1: Go to the Login Page
    Visit MadeInNigeria.com and click on “Login” at the top-right corner of the homepage.

    Step 2: Click “Forgot Password?”
    Under the login form, click the “Forgot Password?” link.
    This will take you to the password recovery page.

    Step 3: Enter Your Registered Email Address
    Type in the email address you used to create your Made In Nigeria account.

    Step 4: Check Your Email Inbox
    You’ll receive a password reset link in your email.
    If you don’t see it, check your Spam or Promotions folder.

    Step 5: Click the Reset Link
    Click the link provided in the email. It will open a secure page where you can set a new password.

    Step 6: Create a New Password

    • Enter your new password twice (for confirmation).

    • Choose a strong password with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
      Then click “Save” or “Change Password.”

    Step 7: Log In with Your New Password
    Return to the login page and sign in using your new password.

    Tip: For security reasons, avoid reusing old passwords or simple words that can be easily guessed.


    ✏️ Option 2: How to Change Your Password (When Logged In)

    If you’re already logged in and want to update your password, follow these steps:

    Step 1: Go to Your Dashboard
    After logging in, click on “My Account” or “Dashboard” from the top menu.

    Step 2: Open Account Details
    On the left-hand menu (or account tabs), click on “Account Details”.

    Step 3: Locate the Password Change Section
    Scroll down to find the fields for:

    • Current Password

    • New Password

    • Confirm New Password

    Step 4: Enter Your Details

    • Type your current password in the first field.

    • Enter your new password in the next two fields.

    Step 5: Save Changes
    Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.

    Your password will be updated immediately, and you’ll receive a confirmation message.

    Tip: Update your password every few months to enhance account security.


    ⚠️ If You Don’t Receive the Reset Email

    If you didn’t get the password reset email:

    1. Check your Spam/Junk folder.

    2. Make sure you entered the correct registered email address.

    3. Wait a few minutes — sometimes, delivery may be delayed.

    4. If you still don’t receive it, contact Made In Nigeria Support at support@madeinnigeria.com.
