However, if a product doesn’t meet your expectations, arrives damaged, or isn’t what you ordered, you can easily return it for a replacement or refund. This guide explains how to initiate, process, and complete a return through your account.
🧾 1. When You Can Return a Product
You can request a return if:
The item you received is defective or damaged.
You received the wrong product, size, or color.
The product is not as described on the website.
You want to exchange the item for another (depending on vendor policy).
Note: Returns must be initiated within 7 to 14 days of delivery, depending on the vendor’s return policy. Some items — such as personal care products, digital downloads, or food items — may not be eligible for return for safety or hygiene reasons.

Step 1: Log in to Your Account
Go to madeinnigeria.com and log in using your email and password.
Step 2: Navigate to “Orders”
Click on “My Account” in the top menu.
From the dashboard, select “Orders” to view your purchase history.
Step 3: Select the Order to Return
Locate the order that includes the item you want to return.
Click “View” to open order details.
Step 4: Click “Request Return”
You’ll find a “Request Return” or “Return Item” button next to eligible products.
Fill out the Return Form, including:
Reason for return (e.g., wrong item, damaged item, etc.)
Description of the issue
Optional: upload clear photos or videos showing the issue
Step 5: Submit Your Request
Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a Return Request ID.
The vendor will be notified and will review your request within 24–72 hours.
🚚 3. Returning the Product
After your return is approved:
You’ll receive pickup instructions or a return address via email.
Pack the product securely in its original packaging, including tags, accessories, and invoice if possible.
Our logistics partner will contact you to arrange pickup or drop-off.

Do not send back an item without approval — it may not be processed or refunded.
Shipping fees for returns may be covered by the vendor or deducted from your refund, depending on the reason for return.

Once your item is received and inspected:

If approved, your refund or replacement will be processed within 5–10 business days.
Refunds are typically sent to your original payment method or Made In Nigeria Wallet.
