Nwadinobi from Anambra to represent Nigeria at global chemistry event

A student from Premium Breed Secondary School in Nnewichi Nnewi, Anambra State has been selected as one of six finalists to represent Nigeria at the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad in Switzerland.

Nwadinobi, was chosen after competing against students from over 600 schools in Anambra and being recognized as the overall best in Chemistry.

Nwadinobi attributes his success to his dedication to his studies, his teachers, and God.

The state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, praised Nwadinobi and his school for their outstanding performance and emphasized the importance of continued hard work and dedication.

She also stated that this achievement demonstrates the State Government’s commitment to providing Anambra students with opportunities to excel academically on both a national and international level.

The Education Secretary of the Anglican Diocese of Nnewi, Ven Henry Nduka JP, also praised the achievement as a testament to the current administration’s commitment to promoting academic excellence among its students.

The Principal of Premium Breed Secondary School, Canon Nwajide, expressed gratitude to the state government for creating an environment conducive to education in Anambra and noted that his school had won the first three positions at the state level of the competition.
