1. Introduction
This Vendor Agreement governs your use of Made in Nigeria’s marketplace as a seller (“Vendor”). By registering as a vendor, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Vendor Registration
Vendors must provide:
- Valid business name, CAC registration (if available).
- Bank account details for settlements.
- Contact information and product details.
Made in Nigeria reserves the right to verify all details before approval.
3. Vendor Responsibilities
- Upload only genuine, high-quality, and lawful products.
- Provide accurate product descriptions and prices.
- Fulfill orders promptly within the stated time.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Adhere to NDPR, Consumer Protection Act, and all Nigerian laws.
- Refrain from listing counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal items.
4. Commission & Payment
- Made in Nigeria charges a commission fee per sale (percentage agreed at registration).
- Vendor payouts occur weekly or bi-weekly via approved payment channels.
- Vendors are responsible for any transaction or bank charges.
5. Product Listing & Pricing
- Vendors maintain full control over product prices.
- Made in Nigeria may review or remove listings that violate policy.
6. Intellectual Property
Vendor represents that all content (images, text, trademarks) used are legally owned or licensed.
7. Termination
Made in Nigeria may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:
- Policy violations
- Fraudulent activity
- Repeated poor customer reviews
8. Indemnity
Vendor agrees to indemnify Made in Nigeria against claims, damages, or losses arising from their products or actions.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
