President Bola Tinubu left for London on Friday after participating in the two-day summit in France. The summit, which was convened by French President Emmanuel Macron, discussed a new global financing deal for Africa in the face of poverty and climate change .
Tinubu, who was Nigeria’s representative at the summit, had an excellent performance and met with other world leaders and business executives . He called for expanding the fiscal space and economic fairness for Africa as the world shifts to greener energy sources.
According to a statement by Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications & Strategy, Tinubu will be on a private visit in London and will come back to Nigeria before the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
