WhatsApp, the instant communication app owned by Meta, is reportedly down.
WhatsApp users in Nigeria are currently unable to send or receive messages on the app.
WhatsApp outage was noted few minutes past 8:00 Tuesday morning, and it’s said to have affect most part of India, Uk and West African users including Nigeria.
Downdetector, the website that tracks internet outages, reports that While 69% of the faced problems with sending messages, 24% has troubles with server connection and 7% had issues with the overall app.
Whatssap is most used chat platform globally, with more than 2 billion active users monthly, and the third bigest social platform after Facebook and YouTube .
