Power Grid Collapses to Zero Mega Watts.

In a notice from the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EEDC), the system crashed to zero megawatts at 10:51 am on Monday,   resulting in the “loss of supply currently being experienced across the network”.

Emeka Ezeh, The Head of Corporate Communications EEDC, pointed out that the company was awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo.

The National Power Grid which was at the capacity of 3,712 MW per hour before the collapse, crashed to zero MW having earlier collapsed twice in March, twice in April, and once in June.
